Key Steps in The Hydraulic Wrist Manufacturing Process Revealed

Sep 07, 2026

The manufacturing process of a hydraulic wrist involves several rigorous steps. First, raw material preparation requires selecting high-strength and corrosion-resistant metals, such as alloy steel, to ensure the hydraulic wrist can withstand high pressure and frequent movement. Next comes design and planning; based on actual usage requirements and the working environment, the size, shape, and performance parameters of the hydraulic wrist are determined, and precise design drawings are created using specialized software.

In terms of the production process, the first step is cutting, where the raw materials are cut to the appropriate size and shape according to the design requirements. Then, the material is initially shaped through forging or casting, followed by machining processes such as turning, milling, and drilling to ensure the precision and surface quality of each component. Next comes assembly, where the machined components, such as hydraulic cylinders, connectors, and seals, are precisely assembled according to the design requirements. After assembly, welding is performed to ensure a secure connection. Finally, the quality and testing phase employs various methods, including pressure testing, sealing testing, and motion accuracy testing, to comprehensively test the performance of the hydraulic wrist. Only products that pass these tests are allowed to enter the market.
