Hydraulic shredders, also known as hydraulic breakers, consist of a jaw body, hydraulic cylinder, movable jaw, and fixed jaw. The jaw body comprises jaw teeth, blades, and standard teeth. Mounted on an excavator, they are an excavator attachment. Powered by the excavator's power system, the hydraulic cylinder drives the opening and closing motion of the movable and fixed jaws to shred materials such as reinforced concrete. They are primarily used for secondary demolition in construction and demolition processes.
Hydraulic shredders are widely used in the demolition industry. During demolition, they are mounted on excavators, allowing operation by a single excavator operator.
